Our founder Gordon Martin commenced the business in 1958 and has been operating continuously ever since.

A proud achievement of The Martin Group of Company’s is the induction of Gordon Martin in 2006 into the “Transport Hall of Fame”, for a significant contribution to the transport industry.A self made, icon in the industry, Gordon maintains “it’s all about having good people around you” and “don’t make commitments you are unable to deliver”.
Gordon has a son Jason Martin who is ready and willing to ensure the Martin name continues to service our industry into the future.The Martin Group of Companies are key providers of transport service to rural and remote Australia.
Martins are a major supplier of services to the Pastoral and Agricultural industries providing specialist transport solutions to Livestock and Bulk requirements. Martins also have a long history of service to the Coal and industrial Minerals Mining providing transport solutions for this specialist sector.
2018 marked the year Jason Martin takes over the reins as Managing Director of the transport business with the key goal of being the best livestock transport business in the country.
To support this transition a Management Board made of highly qualified internal and external resources have been put together to support the future growth and development of Martins Stock Haulage.
